Need to replace a/c compressor.... 900

Hi Guys! It's finally getting hot here on the NC Coast, and my a/c doesn't hold refrigerant for too long, so it's time to replace my original compressor and all the associated parts. Hoping to flush the system and not replace the evaporator, I'm sure that's a nightmare. I'm looking at a GPD kit from Rock Auto. Any suggestions or cautions? I've done this on other vehicles, but never on a Volvo. Thanks!!

I don't know if this guy is still in business but when I needed one found him.
Automotive Compressor Works, Ken Hester 817-980-1672. He's in Texas. I'm not affiliated with him.

Thanks, Aleekat. Is he a rebuilder? I intend to go new, not rebuilt. Kit includes new compressor, receiver/drier, orifice tube and seals.

I guess I should change the condenser as well.

Found a new Nissens condenser unit on sale on Ebay for $88.95 delivered, list price over $400. Anyone use one of these?

On our 960, the leak was from the suction line from the accumulator to the compressor. Unless you're sure you need a new compressor, I'd just try to identify the source of the leak and fix that.

That's true, but considering the system is over 22 years old, and new parts are actually cheap, I'm going for a new system.

I ordered the kit, it's coming from Kalifornia, so I've got a few days. I think I'll break the connections to the condenser loose and blow it out, and see if there is any debris in it. I'll have time to order a new condenser if needed.
