Another classic Volvo destroyed in the California wildfires 1800

I saw the link to the picture of the Duett in the 444-544 forum (cross posted in the 120-130 forum).

I just happened to run across this.

They are only possessions and this is nothing compared to the loss of life. Still, it is a sad end and I, too, wondered if this car belonged to someone here.

Another classic Volvo destroyed in the California wildfires 1800

The owner and family got out safe along with his best 1800 on a trailer. The following from a post on the Yahoo 1800 forum. He posted that picture and many others there too.

"Now for the rest of Volvo content... I did get the light green 66s out.. but I had to leave the Chassie 39304 Blue 72e with 40,000 miles on it... it stayed in the shop it looks like first the roof fell on it then it burned.... very hot...Total loss from what I can tell so far...

My 64s chassis #12280 burnt outside... Total loss.. it's burned bad, but at least it's not crushed...... My parts car 71e didn't burn... My 2 1966 122 two door coupes got burned too... "
