95 940 N/A missing on #2 & #3 strong spark dry plugs

Hello all

Title says it all pretty much

missing on #2 & #3

strong spark all the way to the plug

both plugs come out looking normal

can unplug injectors and spark plug leads while running on those two cylinders and makes no diff

for a while was running with one down, progressed to two now.

I'm thinking clogged injectors maybe? Anyone know if turbo and N/A injectors are the same? I'm gonna move them around and see if the misfires follow the injectors

any suggestions are most welcome as its raining and new years too

happy new year!

--> Turbo injectors NOT the same as NA. Yours is NA car use all NA injectors.

Strong spark all the way to the plug

--> Did you test the spark using the same plug from the affected cylinder? Or using spare plug? The plug on the affected cylinder may look normal (with internal break) along with blocked injector.

Are you using platinum plugs?
These engines are known to have issues with platinum plugs. Easy to misfire with slight carbon deposit on its porcelain tip.

Just move the wire from a working injector to a non working injector to see if that injector comes to life...

Thanks for the reply

did that, same thing. i did the diagnostic test with the flashing light and got the injectors to chatter away happily. Also, after thinking about it some i put a different head on a while back and the problem continued. So I am thinking not injectors now as the new head had injectors too.

clogged fuel rail? gonna swap it out. parts cars are sweet. also, i will change the fuel filter tomorrow.

plugged and unplugged the tps a few times. no change in idle performance. i will swap that out too i guess.

my lawn mower is more complicated than this car and it is pissin me off that i cant get it running right.

help a brother preserve his manpride i seem to be at an impasse

please
