Cruise control options for late production 240s (90-93) 200 1993

Today I pulled a cruise control kit from an 86 244. Stalk, engine bay servo, pedal bracket with sensor, conputer, and wiring harness. I have seen documentation that shows that 90-93 240s have a different system, with parts in common from 850s and other models like v70s.

The vacuum pump that pushes the pedal and engine bay servo for this iteration of cruise control seem hard to find. Can I use parts from 850s or v70s and similar models, along with my 86 stalk, for a complete setup in a 93 240?

hi dave,
i'm not near my notes, but some points.

1. the 90-93 240s are prewired. previous 240s are not.
2. the 86 stalk connector is different than on the later models.
3. i believe the pedal connection is a different setup than the later models.
4. i believe the vacuum pump are the same with the 940 and 850 models.
5. the earlier models' vacuum comes from the engine, whereas the later models have the vacuum pump.

good to have a diagram of the installation.

i think it's more trouble to install an earlier cc on a later model than its worth.

i'll write later, but others can contribute much.

regards,
