Clutch pedal squeaking 444-544 1962

I get a loud sharp squeak almost every time I press the clutch pedal down, even when sitting still or with the engine off, so pretty sure it’s right in the pedal shaft or the linkage, but do I need a new shaft and bushings, or should I just replace all the rubber seals?
I hate to replace parts that are really still ok, but I don’t want to tear it apart to replace some pieces only to still get the noise again!
I’ve greased it twice pretty heavily and it seemed better for a few days but the noise comes right back.

As the linkage gets old and things cease to stay aligned, the pedal shaft - the piece that passes through the floor - often starts to rub on the side of the hole. This can also happen if the pedal shaft has twisted in place - it no longer follows its proper arc.
