Question on E-Code Headlamp for Volvo 240 200

Has anyone installed it lately?

I am thinking about Volvo European E Code Headlight Kit - Skandix 1070032 at https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-240-european-e-code-headlight-headlights#reviews
But I understand that it requires some wiring work, which I makes me nervous.

My mechanic told me that just replacing the headlamp with new original Volvo part will make big improvement over the old one I have (28 years old car, '91). Do you agree?

Is there one e-code headlight that does not require any wiring mod? What is the best brand I can get? Is it worth the cost?

    use relays when wiring. better lumen output with relays.

    the fellow bb member, dave shannon had step by step instructions for wiring ecodes with relays.

    i hope i saved the file, not just the link; he ended his 240 website. I'll check.

    do more searching, not that hard.
