Hi all,
Have a perplexing thing happening with my 940 wagon. I just did front brakes. New calipers, rotors. Had steering rack replaced. The last few days when I come to a stop I hear a clunk when the car is almost completely stopped. This has only begun and was after the new rack was installed. I’ve looked under the car and can’t see anything. The car steers fine. Any idea what this could be.

If the other suggestions do not pan out, find a shop that has a set of chassis ears.

If you do not know what they are, do a google search.

They even make wireless ones now.

Check the rack mounting bolts. How are your front end bushings?

Dear Griff951,

Hope you're well. See if the 10mm hex socket-head bolts - that secure the calipers to the strut tube - are completely tight.
