Rear Brake Dust Shield Replacement on independent suspension S90-V90 1998

Has anyone replaced the rear dust shields on a 1997-98 S90/V90 with independent rear suspension? Looks like a bear, particularly the axle nut that has been rusting in place in New England for the last 20 years. All help appreciated.

I have done it before without removing the axle nut by unbolting the old dust shield and cutting a slot in it to work it over the hub. Then cut a slot in the new dust shield and work it over the hub to reinstall. I don't remember where the slot was ,but working with the old one you should be able to determine where to put the slot.
