Turbo Boost Gauge not working 700 1989

Hello - My Turbo Gauge on my 1989 780 is not working, where does the hose come into the engine compartment through the fire wall? I'm wanting to trace it to see if it is leaking, cut or not connected. I didn't want to remove the instrument cluster for fear of any damage to it. Thanks in advance.

Vacuum line from manifold to the gauge. It tends to fail in the engine compartment due to age ,heat, road elements. I just spliced a new piece 6 in from the fire wall back to the vacuum nipple. You have to removed the engine side end and check it over.

Look above the pedals for a vacuum line and "T" fitting. One goes to the gauge and the other runs to the overboost switch.

My problem on the boost gauge was the vacuum line to it. Old and cracked. I purchased a small barb fitting like on an air line for a fish aquarium and sliced in into the hose section that was still good.
