I have four pictures of the seat removal but I cannot find a way to post them with the message.

The four pictures are in the image library.

Sometimes I can find a way to see them. Sometimes I can't.

I am sorry if you are trying to remove your seat and cannot get the pictures because they are very helpful.

This technology defeats me every time.

Thank you aleekat. Wish I could learn how to get pictures relocated to email messages myself. I have done so in the past but not this time. I thought this post could help somebody else by showing the setup for the seat cushion.

Also, the limit on images when you upload to BrickPix not the image pixel size of 640 wide x 480 height, yet the image file size (or length) of 1024 megabytes as 1,024,000 bytes.

Your OS system preferences may display image size (not size on disk value) differently in the Windows dialogue.

Not the size on disk as you see in the Windows file properties dialogue.

Windows Example

Mac OS X Example as Size – Ignore the value in parentheses.

Usually set the image width as width=900 before the > yet one space after jpg.

Larger images show more detail yet occupy more server storage space.

Hope that helps.

Is this an URL?

I cut and pasted this from the image library.

I am noticing that none of my images shows properly in the image library. Maybe they are too large or something.

Another image from somebody else's post is not showing either.The problem lies here I suspect. It is taking me more time to upload these pictures than to do the job!

I use Imgur for posting images. But just to try it out I just used Brickboard to see if that works.

First, you have to open your login name in another tab. Then click [UPLOAD AN IMAGE] in your profile. Fill in the CAR NAME/Subject field, then click the Browse button to select the image on your computer, then click Submit My Image, then View Uploaded Image. That will show you the image and the HTML code beside it. Copy the HTML code and paste it into your message like this.

Well, obviously that didn't work even though I followed all the steps exactly. That's why I use Imgur. So here's picture using the HTML code from Imgur.

If that doesn't work anymore, the problem is with Brickboard.

I can see this image fine. I have noticed there are some images besides mine that don't show up when I go to the image library. I will attempt to select one of them to accompany this message.

I just go to the upload/select link and take the image from the image libarary. I am a real point and click moron when it comes to computer stuff I am sorry to say. Just never interested me enough.

Theoretically I have now uploaded "hot spot in centre column" to this message. Title might be slightly wrong.

His images are blacked out like mine are in the image library.

I cannot see the image. I will now try with one that is not blacked out.

This image is the KAE bulb sensor relay image. I can see it when I go to the library unlike my own or those of one other contributor.

Okay. Screwed up the title--this is of a door panel but it is coming through.

For some reason my images and those of one other contributor [I will try to get his moniker title when I go to the library again] are not showing in the library.

I take my images from a Sony cybershot camera that I download and place in my dropbox file. Perhaps that is an issue.

His handle is Uberreicher from Tumwater,WA, and the title of his three images is "Mystery hot spot on center console". I can see none of his images.

No. I can't see his image. Wonder if it might be a dropbox problem. They have been bugging me for money for a while now and I have been resisting. I will try moving the file elsewhere and then trying an upload.

Thanks everybody for your patience. Much appreciated.

I will try once again to upload one of my files.

I used Dropbox for a long time until I started running low on the space they offered and went to Google Drive, which offers 15GB instead of 2GB. Dropbox also won't support older operating systems anymore and I had to search high and low on the internet to find an old version I could use on an old Android tablet I have so I could import books. I do not recommend Dropbox.

Hi Mr. muskox37,

The broken image icon link on your message here is pointing to:
//brickboard.s3.amazonaws.com/brickpix/13561.jpg

Aleekat is able to display image 13561, yet using a different link pathname directory we are all more familiar seeing and using?:

https://www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/13561.jpg

I'll guess related to Jarrod's upgrade and migration project of his brickboard.com.

So, change the:
//brickboard.s3.amazonaws.com/brickpix/13561.jpg

to:
//www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/13561.jpg

Yet I'd use the full directory pathname link including the https:

https://www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/13561.jpg

Using Mr. Art Benstein's bright and happy infographic to post images in your brickboard message:

So we see your image as Aleekat got it right:

The BrickPix gives us the:

brickboard.s3.amazonaws.com/brickpix/

May be part of Jarrod's brickboard.com upgrade and migration project that we see these different URLs:

The safe bet I guess is the service can always link to the BrickPix image file as

www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/

Does that halps?

I'll guess the image link in each BrickPix will soon revert to the:

www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/

Yet Jarrod treats that programmatically on the server hosting brickboard.com.

Hope that halps.

Questions?

cheers,

I will try putting in the path you supplied for this image.
//www.brickboard.com/GALLERY/images/13561

I cut out the original path. Let's see if the image shows up when I submit.

I used 13558.jpg but should do the same thing.

Voila! Now when I have a spare hour I will try to get back to my original message and get the images to show.

Thanks once again to all and sundry who assisted me through this computer maze.

Below the reply window. Look for Image URL, click on image library(upload/select), image library should open in a new window. Then just click on the pic you want. That window will close and the selected pic should in that box. Then submit.

No doesn't show. Did you get a 2nd browser window open to the image library? If you didn't might be a "popup blocker". Try holding down the CTRL key when clicking.

trying again. I see the IMAGE LIBRARY [UPLOAD/SELECT] window below this reply window.

I will now click that.

I now see //brickboard.s3amazonaws.com/brickpix/13358.jp on the line above the IMAGE LIBRARY [UPLOAD/SELECT] window

I am not yet seeing the image but following your directions I will now SUBMIT MESSAGE and see what that brings.

I cannot see the picture. Can you see it? I also had to shift from the 900 list to the ALL list just to see the post.

Why is this so complicated?

I will try to attach another picture to this reply. I was able to get the picture from the image library and to click it but it does not show up on the post. At least not from where I am sitting.

I have selected 13560.jpg to show this time around.

I will now SELECT and SUBMIT. [sounds a little kinky but here goes].
