Has any one installed Weber carbs and manifold on a B16 motor? I see a manifolds available for B18 and B20 motors, but not B16.....

dont need a Weber carb now, got the SU's and the car running Great now, and no spitting out the carbs. it was all in the timming of the motor....

That's the problem with points ignition. The rubbing block on the points tend to wear down and change the timing. Electronic Ignition. I put a 6volt unit inside my Bosch distributor.

I have a Weber with a home made base plate made.. from a single carb intake manifold. I've never seen a Weber base manifold made for a B16. Only single carbs and dual SU 4. I think I remember taking the carb. .off of a.Sunbeam sports car.

If it comes down to making a manifold you can find production models with Weber based carbs on Ford Pintos, Chevy Vegas and many Fiat models that may provide a starting point. - Dave
