940 wheel covers?? 900

Anybody have a set of 940 wheel covers (hub caps) in need of rehoming? My car has some sort of generic aftermarket covers on it, one of which is pretty well broken, and another one which has departed for greener pastures. Gone to the great unknown in other words.

In case you are seeing pots of gold, the car is a driver and does not need pristine new old stock. Serviceable is what I am seeking.

Please let me know.

    zimm3 - Your profile does not state where you live.

    If someone lived near you they might respond - distance makes for more trouble to respond.

    I live in Chelmsford Massachusetts and if you live near here, I'm sure that I have a selection that You could look at. It would take some time to rummage around for them, but I would do that if you were planning to visit. I would give them to you.

    When you do get some wheel covers - if one of the plastic clips that hold the wire spring is broken, install the broken side first and the cover will serve well.

    Installing the broken clip last makes it very difficult to install.

    One set I painted the holes black (I never had to wash the holes again!), another set I painted maroon to match the interior of the car our daughter drove (Our HS colors were Maroon and silver like the car) - Get creative.

    What size steelie wheels you have? 15" or 16"?

    What year 940?

    You have metal 240 "dog dish" like heel, yet they may be one piece or a two-piece like that used on 240 in the 1980s. I'm unsure, yet the 700 / 900 15" steelie wheels may be able to accommodate the Volvo 240 two piece stainless two piece. Unsure about the 16" steelies.

    You also have the plastic wheel cover for 15" and 16" steelies that appear like the 1986+ 240 plastic wheel covers that snap in.
