Free car if you want it 200

Well my fellow 240 aficionados, I had no takers when I advertised my '89 wagon last February. Things are tough all over, I suppose.

I should have had it hauled off but it is still sitting in the driveway. And that is the problem. The city has notified me that I need to have it licensed, which is not going to happen in their time frame, or get it out of sight which, in my case, means getting rid of it because I have no place to store it.

So...if anyone would like to haul it off, it's yours. But it will not have the good, little used OE AMM, the OE floor trays or the hub caps and trim rings. And it will need to be towed.

Oh, yeah...and you have only one week in which to accomplish this. It has to be gone by 9/21. I think the city might cut a little slack on that. I would have to talk to the inspector.

Description and contact info is in the BB classifieds. Here's the link

https://www.brickboard.com/CLASSADS/index.htm?id=17450

Otherwise it gets donated to charity and you know what they will do with it.

    It is over 200

I am a little sad. The '89 wagon is gone, taken away on a flatbed bound for...I don't know...the pick n pull, I guess.

This is the first time in probably twenty-five years that I have owned less than two 240's.

Our condolences, Don. 31 in Volvo years is like 81 in people years, so yeah, a little more life was possible, but some days you just have to know when it's time to stop keeping it running and just let go, meeting a natural end. Without your good care, it likely wouldn't have lasted this long. Yes, best to believe it's off to the PnP as an organ donor where it may help save the life of another, letting its spirit live on, better than going straight to the crusher then off to be smelted at an Asian factory. At least you still have a stablemate. Feel like I'm consoling a bereaved horse owner here.

Did you put it on facebook, Craigs list and turbo bricks? Seems like somebody would was this M47 car. Good candidate for a V8 swap.
