Website Improvement 444-544

This site has been an invaluable source of information for my restoration and general enjoyment of my 544. I think there are only a handful of sites that offer this type of feedback and they seem to be dwindling as time goes by.

I'd love to see this website start to archive and categorize their posts more effectively for the future. It's great we have a 444-544 category but often it's hard to find information without really digging. Is there any way we could push for improvements?

Engine
Brakes
Transmission
Body
Electrical
Ignition
Etc.

I think this site could generate a lot more views if this was possible and with a lot of our active members being as old or older than the cars they own, it's becoming apparent that we're losing a massive amount of braintrust. Would be awesome to see newer owners come here and have more information at their fingertips, especially if the question has already been asked.

There is a search option. Just as with Google, your results rely on getting the key words correct.

That's exactly it though. Even within the community there are different terms for the same thing because of culture or technical understanding. If groups of message threads were put into subcategories, I bet a lot more useful information would be found.

I understand no system is perfect and these things cost money. I just think the forum is underutilized and there's a whole new generation of Volvo owners that are going to be asking the same questions once again (but the best answers may have already been given by someone who isn't around anymore).
