Going jumbo brakes: wheel bearings and 700

So I was planning on upgrading the calipers per https://www.brickboard.com/FAQ/700-900/Brakes.htm#UpgradingOlder7XXBrakestoLater
9XXJumboBrakes. I got the calipers and their brackets off a 94 940 but then started having some thoughts:

1. Are the wheel bearings interchangeable? If not, are they specific to the spindle?
2. Would I get anything by swapping the spindle (I take that means replace the strut housing) besides being able to put ABS sensors?

Going jumbo brakes: wheel bearings and 700

    1. Are the wheel bearings interchangeable? If not, are they specific to the spindle?
Yes between non-ABS cars. Same wheel bearings 700/900 cars.
Not between 700/900 ABS cars. Different ABS tone rings.

    2. Would I get anything by swapping the spindle (I take that means replace the strut housing) besides being able to put ABS sensors?
    No.

    Amarin.
