PV Instrument Cluster Restoration Resources 444-544 1967

Longtime Volvo owner, new 1967 P210 owner unfamiliar with older Volvo resources.

Vehicle instrument cluster chrome is pitted/flaking and will need to be restored. Are there any sellers of reproduced or re-chromed dash clusters?

I used search function on BB and used a variety of search terms on web and came up with blanks....

If there is a lot of chrome showing it sounds as if all of the paint finish has cracked off. The finish is the same as the Amazon. Look at pictures of those. This is one link to refinish details. There is another in German with pictures but I can't find that one.

Also quite interest in this thread, regarding my 67 Duett! Several (?15) years ago I came across an online article (not in English) that described how to do the restoration yourself. Very well photo documented. I put it somewhere for safe keeping and later reference but so far haven't found it! :((
I'll keep searching, now newly motivated...

I also queried various speedometer / instrument repair shops (Palo Alto, etc) and none were willing or able to take this on.
