I looking to replace the 2 sensors.1 is for the coolant temp gauge,,the other harder to get at is the under Cyl#3 & is connected to the computer.Volvo doesnt have it..I wonder where to find it?Anyone know tghe part #?

I found the rear sensor from FCp,,& it was a 30 min job max,,I pulled the intake away & about an inch or 2 & it was easy then.. Volvo told me it wasnt available anymoreI just got the front 1 from Autohaus,,via ebay..'

Have you done a temperature-vs-resistance check to make sure a replacement is warranted?

Required tools: ohm meter, pot of water, cooking thermometer, kitchen stove, temp vs resistance curve info (found somewhere on the internet).

Unnecessary parts replacement can sometimes introduce MORE problems.

You can choose the Volvo brand item or a Hella brand (aftermarket) item. While fcpeuro inventories the Bosch-made item - the supplier to Volvo - that item is on "backorder" from Bosch.
