I agree,he was a fine, honest, decent person who loved working on his old Volvo's. A few years ago, when I first learned of his hobby, I sent him a couple of wooden gear-shift knobs I turned on my wood lathe. He replied with a nice thank-you note and brief letter telling me about his other cars which he owned at the time. I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet him personally.
