Fitting a 93-follow condenser 900

Subject line is a spoiler. The original R-134a retrofit condenser is NLA so I am fitting the later model in my 1992 960. The issue is the hoses are threaded o-ring fittings and need to be changed over to the straight o-ring manifold with retainer plate. So here is the question:

Does anybody know the o-ring fitting size or have a retainer plate? I cannot find the plate anywhere. Trying to save myself some time buying a bunch of fittings only to return most of them.

Thx

Use care in making up your connections yourself.

When I was researching putting a small truck system in one of our 740s, a truck place told me that the r134 molecules are much smaller than the old stuff - brand new parts for an old system will leak with r134.

I took both high and low side lines to a local radiator shop close by me. They replaced the original rubber flex section on the line with the "r134a barrier" hose. They did a nice job.

Pick-N-Pull might be a source for the retainer plate. Look for a '93-'94 940.
Harbor Freight carries a HBNR O-ring assortment that might help.

I too am in the process of converting my 1992 965 to r134.
