rear ended at a high rate of speed 700 1989

driving my volvo and cruising about 60 mph when i noticed a vehicle rapidly approaching from behind me. i expected road rage for driving the speed limit and the driver would use the shoulder to pass me but that isn't what happened. Must have hit me at about 90 mph! Big bump that set him aback but the ol volvo kept going in a straight line. long story involving me following him for many miles and contacting 911 to get police assistance. driver admitted he was "coming in hot" There were two dirt marks on my bumper from the bummper impact but that is all that is noticable. Is there anything i need to do? i do appreciate that if i had been driving my Tacoma, it would have been totaled. Love that volvo.
