Rear shock upper mount rusted 200

My 93 240 lives outside and not regularly driven for about 2 years. Took it in for state inspection and both rear shock mounts were very rusted/wiggling. Doesn’t look like the rust continued up through the mounts into the frame so the question is once shocks and springs are out, can new top shock mounts be installed? I’ve changed shocks and springs on my 240’s through the years but never had the occasion to replace those upper mounts. Or maybe these parts are an integral part of the frame? Thanks/Garry Mawhinney Long Island

Think twice, post once…I meant spring mounts, not shock mounts. But you probably knew that! Garry Mawhinney
