My daughter was over for Thanksgiving and an oil and filter change. With the problems I had with the 1994 fuel filter I checked the 1995 filter.
It and the mounting bracket were very rusty (under the car below the driver's seat). I would like to get a replacement mounting bracket but have no idea where to look. Any idea on the part number and where I could buy one?
I have sprayed down the filter and bracket with a corrosion inhibitor to gain time before any leaks. I have attached a picture of the bracket and inhibitor (I am having problems attaching the picture, is there help to attach a picture?).

Hope you're well and stay so. The circumferential clamp, that secures the fuel filter, is Volvo #3501574. I suspect it is "no longer available" from Volvo.

As salvage yards are networked, one in your area may be able to find one at a salvage yard in a distant state, where salt is little used to melt snow/ice.

Alternatively, any metal - or plastic - strip, at least 3/4" side, could be used. The filter is not especially heavy and is not subject to stress. So, plastic strapping used to secure boxes to each other or to a pallet - if cut to the right length - could secure the fuel filter.

YOU DONT HAVE 1 ON A PARTS CAR??

The parts car brackets are as rusty as the one I want to replace. Minnesota Winter road salt is quite corrosive!
