Need to clean Virgo wheels, which product would use ? 200

Happy new year to everyone,

Was looking at many methods on utube. One used vinegar, rince, and 10% caustic soda and rince.

An other method used wheel and tire cleaner from Maguiars and rince after 15 seconds.

These Virgo have original finish but have more or less yellowish brake dust that does not come off with a pressure washer.

Thanks for your reply.

Roland

I have used a product called SONAX Wheel Cleaner Plus with great success. Spray on, let sit for about 5 minutes, while it turns purple, maybe use a soft brush after sitting and then rinse. I also then follow on with a soft brush and regular car wash after rinsing the SONAX. Has worked well for me, but there are many variables that can affect your own results. I tried a lot of other products over the years and this one is my own favorite both for ease of use and results.

You could try one of the Iron-X type of cleaners. Plenty of choice. The juice goes purple as it attacks the iron. Best done off the car so you tackle the inside as well. You are cleaning the powder coating not alloy so beware acid based cleaners.
