Morning all!

I have a 1990, 240, 185k miles on it.

I'm working on getting my transmission to stop leaking. Just replaced the pan gasket which was a huge win, but I still have a leak.

I've narrowed it down to the seals around the shift selector, one on each side of the transmission, and the O-rings that are behind where the cooler lines tie into the transmission.

My question is how hard are the shift selector seals to get out, and might anyone know what tool will work to remove them as I've seen several on the internet, but none specific to the AW70.

    the seals i've done i use a 90 degree hook and grabbed it. sturdy picks not the normal one's that sell for 5/4 pack. hardest part is getting the new one in straight. patience gets it but it's slow.

      Thanks for response.

      Do you recall if you had to drain the transmission of fluid to get this accomplished, or could you leave it all in?
