automatic to manual tranny swap 700 1988

I am preparing to swap my automatic(in need of rebuilding) for an M46 manual out of an 87 760 turbo. I've found a shop that will sell me the parts(everything I need). I have made up a list of everything I think I will need. If anyone can think of any additional parts that will be required I would be undyingly grateful. Here is my current list:

M46 Transmission with all bolts to attach to the engine

Flywheel cover plate(in front of transmission on bottom of engine), with bolts

transmission crossmember with mount

flywheel to replace flex plate

clutch unit

clutch pedal assembly with all mounting structures (ie everything that bolts to the firewall that is clutch specific)

brake pedal foot-pad (smaller size for manual cars)

shift lever assembly with boot and interior trim piece (i don't think this requires a new center console)

OD wiring(attached to shifter)

clutch pedal master cylinder with mounting bolts and reservoir if separate

hydrolic lines for above

slave cylinder for clutch (attached to tranny) with fork

Any other advise about the swap would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help! please reply by email.

Re: automatic to manual tranny swap 700 1988

You will need the console plate, the auto is different. You will also need the front half of the drive shaft. You will need the relay for the over drive as well as the wire harness for that relay. Get all the fly wheel stuff, I think you will need a poilt bushing. Talk to John Sartgent he just did the same swap last summer. He's on the board all the time just look for his name. Brian
