no heat 700 85

I am having a problem with getting heat to come in my car. The fan doesn't work. The story is this, One day I got frustrated with a binging coming from my dash and I started to hit it. Since that time the fan has not worked. I doubt anyone has experienced this, but if you have or have any ideas why this is happening any help would be great.

Check the wires going to the motor at the motor. They may have come loose or you scared them loose. Have had a connection problem there in the past.

If you mean the heat motor. I checked the wirers there. I disconnected them and then reconnected them and nothing. Another thing before I did that whenever I turn the fan on the voltmeter would drop into the red when idling.
