wagon taillights -- what years will fit? 200 79

Hi! I have a set of tail light lenses for a '79 245 that I'm trying to sell and someone has asked what other years they will fit.... any ideas? I know that Volvo didn't change this kind of thing much, but I don't know where else to turn to get this information. Thanks!

Hi Kenton,

Your tailights will fit 240 series from 75-80 model years. They should

also fit 140 series from 68/69-74. I have a 69 wagon and the only

difference that I know of is that mine are the early all red lenses.

I think it is close to what Rob says. I don't have an IPD catalog handy but they sell sets of lenses and they have the same part number for many years together like '75-80's. I'll try to remember to look at home.

Kenton -- John Laughlin's body design changes page on the Swedishbricks 240 FAQ says the wraparound tailights on wagons were introduced in 1981. So...I guess you're looking at 1975-'80?
