DIY yards in South Florida?

Planning a trip to Ft. Lauderdale end of January.

Any good do it yourself yards down that way?

    Evan,

    Mike Woodruff lives in Largo Fl, which is near Clearwater/St. Petersburg. I know that he has a few favorites. East or West Coast? Ft. Myers Beach and Naples are beautiful this time of year, if a bit windy.

    Going to a yard in a tee-shirt will seem like a treat for you! I want to go do some scavenging, but things are too cold even here in PA. Have a good vacation, dont let your wife nix the junkyard run!

      East Coast - so Clearwater is WAY out of the way.

      As for my wife, she encourages it. When we go on vacation, I get to expand my collection of dealer plate frames, AND get to visit the junkyards.

      Had some nice finds in the San Diego area.
