Junkyard fog lamp installation on a stock 745ti 700 1989

Hello! I managed to find a pair of yellow fogs last weekend to supplement my stock Bosh's in the air dam. They are fairly simple; plastic case, mounting bolt, and one single wire with a very small plug. Interestingly, this plug seems just like the terminating end of the ground wire of the regular fog lamps. Has anyone else encountered this, or do I need to check with the local radio shack? I'd love to get these things blazing!

Did you get the mesh grill that goes over the fog lamps too?

I'm guessing that the mounting bolt is the ground and the single terminal is for +12V. This is typical to many aftermarket lights.
