I got all warm allover looking at this little screamer, then I realized that these guys are in my backyard!! WWU is in Bellingham. I see they are looking for donations, etc. I shoot them an email. It seems they were using Bardahl lubes in the past but would be happy to use Amsoil as their engine/tranny lube (shared). And they are honored to have me as a sponsor.

I gave them a case of Amsoil synthetic 10W-30 yesterday. (They drove to my workplace to pick it up) They are firing up the tiny Viking 30 V8 for the first time today. Can't wait to hear the results.

They are having a fund raising dinner on Feb 13th. They said they would give me the inside tour of their shop then. Pretty cool to see these young fellows involved in this stuff. It's my first "official" foray into something like this. Yes it's good advertising...with Amsoil stickers on their car, and they will add me to their website....but I just am excited about the car. I'll keep you folks posted.

Well, i guess you're a clebrity now. When those guys go race you'll probably be there. all those girls at the end of the race will be hugging the guy(s) who drove the cars and you will be looking on...which is a better view than what i'll get. Anyway, congrats. You're also a clebrity in my neck of the woods. when my 2nd wouldnt shift well(the dumb 5 speed without o/d), i put amsoil in the box and i'ts about as good as you can get without major $$ to replace it.

Should be fun being involved with those guys. good luck.
