260 B230FT & ABS Conversion ???? 200 1983

I am about to start doing up a 260. I will be striping it down to a bare shell and totaly disassembled the suspension.

Firstly, I'll be puting in a B230FT and M47 box. I am presuming that this will go straight in inplace of the V6 setup, that is if the mount holes are in the same place. I know I'll also have to use the rest of the stuff from the turbo engine bay (eg. radiator, intercoler, computers) but that's not a problem. Are there any major problems with this conversion?

Secondly, is it possible to fit an ABS system from a 93 model to my 83. I was planing on reconing the braking system with all new lines, hoses, disc, calipers , everything but fitting ABS will be even better and this is the time to do it. So what is involved in converting from the conventional brakes to ABS?

Any help with these two areas will be much apperciated.

Sounds like a cool project. On the surface: you'll need to move the distributor and the M47 is commonly thought to be too weak for turbo applications. But you probably knew this.
