I've heard that there are few places to go in order to get a good rebuilt turbo. Where is the best place for me to take mine or to buy a new one? Thanks very much, Jon

I like Turbo City in Orange California, I also heard Cherry turbos is good.

It is a good experiance to do it yourself..Make sure you upgrade to a watercooled unit.

We just had ours rebuilt and these guys did a great job-John Myers Turbo Specialties -116-G David Green Rd.-Birmingham ,Al. 35244-Fax 205-444-5012-Tel. 205-444-5011 They will warranty the turbo for 1 year as long as you replace the oil feed tube to the turbo. We have a Garrett Turbo- cost is around 350.00 assuming your core is usable ,otherwise add another 100.00 for the job.I took mine off and U.P.S.`d it to Birmingham,had it back by the end of the week.They do performance upgrades also. I highly recommend them. Be prepared to have some fun if you take the turbo off and put it back on yourself, you will be a lot more familiar will your turbo and related components, though. Be sure and drain the intercooler and I would clean it out while you have everything out. GOOD LUCK!
