thinking of buying a 740 turbo 700 87

Hi, can anyone lend me some advice about an '87' gl turbo sedan, such as fuel economy, power, performance, can they be lowered easily, recommend what size mag wheels and tyres, and are skirt/body kits available.

Any advice would be much appreciated thank you.

Re: thinking of buying a 740 turbo 700 87

Before you don't, check the FAQ section on buying high mileage bricks. Lots of good info there and the rest of it too.

I can offer no advice on body kits. There was an 'aftermarket' forum discussion recently on wheels and tires. 17" is a good size.

Make sure the car is performing well before any mods are done. With a car this old, there will be some maintenance issues.

An answer with 4 letters and an apostrophe: d o n ' t

The car is 15 years-old, why are you worried about rims and body kits? That is totally bizarre. If you want to pay for someone else's headaches, then buy the car for $1000.
