I finally did it....!!!

The gas mileage finally broke 300 per tank..I was a proud papa.

After some serious mods to the engine and trans I was getiing shity gas milage..I think the VX3 cam made me run rich and the 2200 stall tourque convert didnt help to much..but when I did a tune up plugs wires rotor cap etc...it went up alittle bit. from 200-225 miles to . approx. 225-250miles/tank

The big differance was when I made the cold air induction..

after that I drove to W. VA in the moutains too and I got 310 miles per tank...and I think I could have driven further too.

I made a pretty free flowing intake so I think it actually made a differance/ and I dont smell the gas anymore...

Wow I actually improved my milage by f*ckin around w/ my brick

So am I on Crack or did the intake system actually do what I claimed or should I put down the pipe..

What Mods did you do to the induction system?

I have a larger throttle body waiting to be installed, but am waiting to change the induction set-up for more air. I have already upgraded the ignition to an MSD with magnicore wire, sure runs nice. Also have a "GT" or "B" cam waiting to be installed. Any suggestions?

I used the 59mm TB and shved the butterfly valve in the TB and cut the screws down..I didnt do any porting or polishing..but when I made the ram air system is seems to really put everything together..

yeah make sure its shimmed just make sure to use a screen if yo are putting it in your air damn I had bug slice half way thru my K&N I was pissed ..I put a screen mesh in front on the hole I used int he air damn and it looks good too...well thats about it
