Can enyone reveal what name VOLVO means itself? Is it abbreviation like BMW or name like Mercedes?

Volvo was originally a shell company owned by SKF the Swedish bearing manufacturer. The founders, Assar Gabrielson and Gustaf Larson worked for SKF. Volvo came from the Latin, "I rotate".
