timing gears/thrust plate 140-160 71

does anyone have the part number for napa metal or alloy cam timing gear or timing set w/metal gear? my local napa says not available but they have told me that about other volvo parts which i have found part numbers on through other means , then ordered with no problem. also has anyone tried the metal thrust plate that comes eith some sets and if so does it wear as good as original brass? one more thing , who sells camshafts & lifters for the 164 (b30) ?

If you order 271944 from your Volvo agent you will get the re-designed metal timing gear kit. two gears, thrust plate (brass), oil seal and gaskets for both B20 and B300 apps.

I got my last B30 cams and lifters and pushrods from IPD. I think I

had to send them an old cam in the process. Strongly recommend

the IPD pushrod and lifter kit.

I haven't seen much difference in the brass spacer plates.
