Your Opinion 200 1993

I'm looking at a 1993 240 with 104,000 miles. What is a fair price? What should I look for before buying and what should I expect as far as durability and repairs? I am planning on having it thoroughly checked out by a mechanic before buying. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Your Opinion 200 1993

Well, look at edmunds.com and nada.com for estimations about the car's value. There are a lot of variables, so punch in the figures and find out.

The 93 240 has all the best features of the 240 series.

Anti-lock brakes

driver's airbag

R134 A/C (inexpensive to service/charge)

slightly improved engine internals

flush mount front and rear window trim

Good luck. If/when I find the RIGHT 93 240, I'll buy it too. it really is the best of the 86-93 cars.
