Pig Update....... 900 1995

I pulled the plugs. #3 was real sooty. #4 a little bit.

Put it back together, all plugs in proper firing condition.. NO START!

Lots of unburned fuel!

Question:

Could I be losing, say the cam sensor.... and the misfire, with extra vacuum pull.... could it be sucking oil past an already bad seal?

Gotta ride my bicycle to get kid #1 Kid #2....... I dunno...... may be staying at Grandma's tonight...... Grandma is 85 years old and does a poor job looking after kids..... Oh GOD! I'm in trouble.

Re: Pig Update....... 900 1995

It has been just over a year since my new head gasket. It never idled right after that. I figured the engine just missed all of that carbon on the inside. Now after almost 30K the cylinders and valves are just a little too worn for a smooth idle.

Tom....er General Patton I feel for you. These things always seem to happen at the wrong time. Is there ever a good time?

Do you think a compression test and leak down test will answer any questions?

Good luck and keep us posted.

General Patton needs to retreat and re-equip with the proven B230 series engine before any more offensive actions are taken! Do not make offensive manuevers with unproven equipment.
