how to turn off the service light on the panel?

where can I get a reasonale priced rear light unit?

    Remove panel above pedals, reach up behind the speedo and a bit to the right and feel around for a small push button. It is a mechanical button and you push in until you feel it click.

    I just purchased a rear light assembly complete with all lenses and weather gasket for 110.00. It is new and in a box from Sweden. IPD price is 198.00. Got it at a local wrecker who specializes in Volvos and VW. Some Volvo repair shops keep these in stock. Phone around. If you want I can give you the number of this local guy in Charlotte NC. He would ship to you I think.

    There is A button in your instrument panel depress and your light will go out.

    Junk yard.
