Occasional stalling 200 82

My car stalls occasionally. It seems to happen when the car is warm & happens mostly when we are parking it.Also,When we take our foot off the gas to change gears while parking it happens but not all the time. Also once at a stop light. It seems to have started after I had changed both Feul pumps & sock filter. Some times while driving the car makes a particular shaky sound which is the sound the car would make right before it stalls but it does NOT stall it just makes that sound.I have put in Fuel injector cleaner in its most recent tank of gas & hoping it solves the problem. Is there an adjustment I can make in the idle or Feul pump pressure?Car is the 4-cyl gas with 4+OD at 137K+ miles.

Re: Occasional stalling 200 82

Hey Neal,

I just want to share this one with you. Maybe it will help. I dont know.

If your 82 is like mine, there are some wires in the engine compartment, at the passenger side near the firewall. There are a couple of connectors there. I think one of the wires is red and white, another is brown. If I remember correctly.

One of those wires is carrying the primary ignition circuit. I had a problem, kinda like the one you're presenting. It turned out that one of those connectors had loosed up and aquired a bit of rust, etc. I cleaned it up. Crimped it tighter. Problem solved.

GOOD LUCK
