Borbet type E wheels 200 1978

Does anybody know where I can see some picture of a 200 series volvo with the borbet type e wheels? Also, what is the best tire size for the that wheel in a 16 inch. I am thinking about going with a 205/55/16. Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Re: Borbet type E wheels 200 1978

Gabe,

I have 16" stock Turbo rims. The size is 205/55/16. I live on the east coast where pot holes are a daily experience. The size is perfect for the type of driving I do. I think that size should fit in your wheel well with no problems. If you live in an area that has great streets and no pot holes then you could even go with a 205/45/17. Michael Mcbroom has a tire size chart that will help you decide.

Try the link below to Tire Direct. You can play around with different wheels and sizes.

tirerack.com shows pictures of most cars with the wheels available for the given model. Here's the picture from tirerack with Type E's added:

205/55/16 or 205/50/16 will be fine. I'd probably use 215/50/16 (or 215/45/16 on a lowered car) for slightly better handling.
