Mixing tranny fluids? 700 1985

I want to change my transmission fluid.Can I replace it with synthetic fluid even though it will mix with regular fluid remaining in the

tork converter?

Amsoil ATF will mix with no problem, but why? Just do the flush, it's really easy and sorta fun!

See the 700/900 FAQ for instructions on how to flush your tranny with all-fresh fluid.

/// Go to the archive and search for transmission fluid change. There is a method that pumps the old fluid out at the radiator. This should include tork converter.
