What size wrench for brake line fittings? 200 1984

I need to buy a flare nut wrench for the brake line fittings on my front calipers. What size wrench does it take?

Once again I thank all for the competent advice!

Jeff

/// Buy Blackhawk or better when you do buy a flare wrench. The web from the handle goes further up on the box end of the flare. There is less tendancy of the open box end to cam open in these heavier wrenches.

The bleeded screw on calipers is 8mm for origional and 1/4 inch on American rebuilds.

Thanks Evan! One more question. Where is the best place for the jackstands when working on the front of a 244?

jackstands 200 1984

since I assume you are working on the brakes...

If you have a floor jack, jack the car at the rear control arm mount, and put the stand under the factory jack point.

If you are using a factory jack, put the stand on the rearward control arm mount.
