tiny oil leak 900 1995

I have a 940 (not a turbo) with 120,000 miles. it has had all its factory service until now. After the 110,00 service it started having a tiny oil leak--about the size of a quarter or a bit bigger. I took it back to the dealer and they replaced the oil plug. it stopped for a few days then started again. Another trip back--the oil pan was loose--they fixed that. A few days later it started back again. This time I took it to a local guy--he said the filter was loose. he fixed it--2 days later it is leaking again. I live 100 mile reoundtrip from the dealer- so taking it back means taking a vacation day to hang out at the dealer

-few mechanics around here work on volvos, so they look at the obvious and do not do more. i am tired of the problem-- I love the car, but I need ideas as to what it could be. The cost in money and time is getting to be trying. Otherwise the car runs fine. Help

thanks

Stick a flashlight back between the head and the firewall. Look at the back of the head, under the distributor. If it wet there, then it is running down and pooling near the drain plug. But it's really your distributor shaft.

Two o-rings and a 30 minute job.
