I'm also in agreement. Forget buying new. Call Voluparts or Revolvo. Revolvo was able to ship me a cruise control that they'd stripped from a 92 245 and I was able to install it in less than an hour. They supplied the control module, new turn signal stalk, brake switch and the vacuum pump that mounts under the hood. Fished the wire harnesses out, plugged everything in and it's worked like a champ for the last 4 years.

Sorry I don't have the number but a couple of years ago I did buy all the parts for a 740 used from Brian Leppin for something like $100 and got great instructions from him also.

Maybe this is an option for you?
