poor cooling in idle..good AC cooling when moving 900 1995

Hey guys...I have a 1995 945...with factory air..61K miles...In traffic idling AC temp is cool not cold...gets cold when moving 30-40 mph... No change in fan speed on acceleration or any vacuum type leaks..Simply low on freon.???????Problem with pressure switch??(I know there is a TSB on this for this yr 945)...I dont have guages..but am thinking of getting some..john

    Possibly a failed electric fan relay/switch that is not turning the fan on and off with the AC compressor. You should be able to see it cycle on and off with the compressor. Don't confuse that operation with coolant temperature activated operation, which also occurs and may be difficult to distinguish.
