Stalling 200 1990

I have a 1990 240 GL that is continually stalling. It generally stalls while the clutch is disengaged or it is in neutral rolling to a stop.

Have replaced fuel pump relay, secondary fuel pump,and adjusted the clutch. All electrics test ok.

Mechanics are stymied. Need help or a new non Sweedish car.

Brendan,

I traced this problem on my '86 to a bad base idle adjustment.

I would clean the throttle body and adjust the base idle.
