water pumps 200 1983

I appreciate all those that answered my note about water pumps. Philip and Ben, where can I get this water pump you seem to like best?? I called around here and all I can get is the NAPA brand and the GMB. Even the shops use the GMB. The NAPA pump has the impellar as you described about the one you and Ben like Philip but the bearings don't last. And I don't have the belts too tight. I check them often to make sure they are not to loose or tight. I'm just north of S.F. CA. so if anyone knows of a place to get a GOOD pump please yell. I am tired of replaving this pump every 12 months/12 K miles. Thanks, Jim

I didn't read the thread - did they recommend the Hepu pump? If so, you can get it from:

www.alloemvolvoparts.com

They currently list it at $46.00 (USD). However, if you do get it from them, order something else, too... they don't have any shipping charges for orders of $50 and up. What a deal.

The west coast equivalent to alloemvolvoparts.com is www.gapa.com

Delivery should be faster for you.
