Air box opened up ? 700 91

Is there a site that shows how to open the 740 box? I've pushed, pulled, and wrangled but it won't come apart. I wan't it to go back together to be SMOGGED.

Tanks,

Mark H.

There are clips along the sides. Turbo or NA? Left or right?

OK, then would you please be more descriptive. What do you mean by 'open up'? I'm not trying to be thick or anything.

You could mount a cone style filter to the end of the AMM.

Mind if I but in?

I have considered the K&N style air filter for my cars. Do they allow better horse power? do they attached, as you mentioned to the end of the AMM?

Re: Air box opened up ? 700 91

There are two types, the flat rectangular type which is a direct replacement. There is the conical type which needs to be supported and attaches to the AMM.

The K&N filter is a more open type which needs to be oiled. It is cleaned and oiled as opposed to thrown away.

Take your pick.
