Bosal Headers any good? 900 93

I found a bosal replacement for $95 vs. the OEM for $279. Anyone have experience with Bosal header pipes?

Re: Bosal Headers any good? 900 93

Yes, I am using one.

There are fewer heat shields than stock so the exhaust (as heard at the front) is a bit louder, but OTOH there are fewer heat shields to develope rattles. Quality is good, with welding neatness and metal thickness (the things you can see) at least as good as stock.

There is a hole for an O2 sensor in the pipe just ahead of the cat joint. If your car is like ours ('94 940, Halifax) and has the O2 sensor in the cat unit, you will have to get the correct plug installed or have the hole welded up.

We had the pipe installed about 3 years ago. It's been good so far.
